Born and raised in the rural state of Birmingham, Alabama, Cheryl Lynn Jones, the creator and author, was raised in an average household full of girls. As the middle child in the family, she was seen as the outgoing one. But it was her mother and three sisters whom inspired her to write such a great dramatic love story. Which was Intimate Betrayal: Where Lovers Betray Lovers and Friends Betray Friends. Unfortunately, the ideas and events that occur throughout the chapters are not based upon Cheryl's actual lifestyle. Instead, she was influenced by watching soap operas and televisions drama networks. One good example would be Lifetime because it deals with romance and sends out positive messages. Mainly to mothers and teenaged girls. It was during her summer vacation on the year 2003 when Cheryl and her older sieter, LaShonda, the co-plotter, came up with each of the character's individual point of views. The purpose of those views were to send out messages. Messages that would give youthful women in today's society hope. While working and attending grade school until she graduated from an online college, Cheryl witnessed a lot of destroyed relationshops and affairs. That all were affected by jealousy, show-cases, and peer-pressure. She quotes:"Now, it's as if there are so many single parents and children without father figures in their lives". So she and her sister wanted for those children and single females to understand this. They are not failures and they shouldn't want to keep someone in their lives, if they hurt them, for security. Always have a Plan B and ladies don't depend on a man. If you do, then they will make a fool out of you; unless they truly care. As of now, Cheryl, tries to keep that moral in mind. She has many goals to reach and will touch them someday. Even though, her life has changed over the years. She has learned many things just by listening and talking to people. Hopefully, as a successful first-time writer and photgrapher. Will she push forward and never give up no matter what. Even at age of 20, so far, life has taught her a great deal already.
